1. I never like anything that asks me to write interesting tidbits about me because...well....I'm not too interesting on paper. I don't have any hobbies. I don't collect anything. I haven't received any extraordinary awards, and I haven't even met anyone famous. I'm okay with my lack of interesting items, though, because I know that a written exercise such as this doesn't shed too much light about the essence of a person. Still, I don't like looking so boring to the person who reads a list such as this. :)
2. I'm plenty interesting in other ways such idiosyncrasies and inconsistencies...unfortunately.
3. I'm a control freak who likes to go with the flow.
4. I'm an unsocial extrovert.
5. Mountains make me feel claustrophobic, but I love overlooks.
6. One of my biggest pet peeves are those ridiculous cardboard cup-holders that fast food places give you when you order more than 2 drinks in the drive-thru...don't even get me started.
7. I prefer teenagers over toddlers.
8. I take a personal offense whenever someone talks about "all of the idiots out there" because I'm pretty sure they would lump me in that group even though I was an honor graduate from high school, graduated with a 3.1 from UT Austin, and have never been held back from doing anything because of a lack of intelligence. Still, I've had my share of "blonde moments" so I will always feel sympathy for anyone who is being called an idiot.
9. For instance, I once asked the nice, but somewhat baffled people at Walgreen's where the amphetamines were when what I meant to ask was where the antihistamines were.
10. I get words confused enough that my husband has a name for these mix-ups: "Kori-isms".
11. At the same time, I feel so happy when someone uses a new, interesting, descriptive or flashy word. I enjoy doing crossword puzzles. Also, I was a journalism major. Words make my world go round!
12. I think the best fiction and non-fiction books can be found in the children's section in the library. I like things to be explained simply and to the point, and I like happy endings or at least endings that make sense!
13. Countries I have been to: Guatemala, Mexico, France, Italy, and England.
14. I want to go to Israel, Cyprus/Crete, Australia, Hawaii, and New York City.
15. My favorite food is bread, bread, bread, but what my body seems to thrive on is protein and veggies.
16. I think if God offered me the choice to be more good-looking, wealthy, or witty...I would choose to be more witty because a good laugh will get you through anything. I see plenty of unhappy beautiful/wealthy people, and man, I'd love to be able to throw out some good one liners!
17. I never fell asleep in any class except for a theater arts class in college. Ironic. I fell asleep in a class about entertainment.
18. I was a bridesmaid in 8 weddings.
19. It is my great honor/privilege in life to be a mother and a godmother.
20. I'm sorry to say that I thought Toy Story 2 was better than Toy Story 3, but they were both better than the original Toy Story. Just MY opinion!! You don't have to agree. :)
21. My favorite book in the Bible is 1 John. I love it. I should memorize it. It never ceases to inspire me and challenge me.
22. In 11 days, I will have been married to my best friend and boyfriend for 19 years!
23. About the only sport I enjoy watching on TV is golf. Yes, golf. No, it's NOT boring!!! And if you want to make me really annoyed, try to tell me that golf isn't a real sport!!!
24. I enjoy going to Autozone, and looking at all of their car care products, and dreaming of one day having an ultra-clean car.
25. When I was a kid, I always dreamed of having a bright yellow, convertible Volkswagen Bug! I still want a bug!!!! Blue...with an orange Gerber daisy on the dash...and it will be clean on the inside and outside!
